As a professional family life educator, I believe many think we are born knowing how to raise a family. That somehow, out of all roles in our life, we have all of the tools we need to raise a healthy, loving family naturally! This is false!
In my years of working with families as a pastor and family life educator, I have seen parents struggle to transition into new stages with their children, have vision for their future when times are tough, and families begin to break apart because they walk through hardship without the proper support and education. I want to see that changed in my lifetime!
